At ClarkeKann, we recognise the importance of our people and strive to make our firm an enjoyable place to work. We value our support staff team and the integral role they play in the success of our firm.
Our team of support staff includes legal assistants and administrative roles across the firm, including accounts, IT, business development and knowledge management.
We look for people to join our team whose values are compatible with our own.
At ClarkeKann, our people are a priority and we strive to make our firm a rewarding place to work. We offer talented lawyers a genuine alternative to other firms. We attract and retain top tier lawyers through a friendly and supportive working environment, interesting and challenging work, ongoing professional development, and competitive remuneration.

The ClarkeKann Young Professionals Program was established in 1999 to advance the firm's junior and intermediate level professional staff by providing personal and professional growth and development opportunities.
The Program paves the way for our young professionals to engage with their colleagues in client organisations, associated businesses, and industry participants. The program fosters enhanced working relationships with clients and other parties. There is also a focus on teamwork and alignment.
ClarkeKann's Young Professionals host several events each year which are designed to provide our network of young professionals with access to educational, networking and personal development initiatives.
We are committed to creating an environment that encourages our graduates to succeed.
ClarkeKann offers graduates the opportunity to make real contributions and undertake rewarding work with mentoring and guidance from approachable and experienced top tier lawyers.
We’ve created a structured two year program offering an exciting, challenging and practical learning experience across the three sections of the firm – Corporate & Commercial, Property & Projects and Litigation & Insolvency.
Our graduates are part of the action from an early stage. The program focuses on strengthening technical, business and personal skills, and incorporates the day to day conduct of “real files” with direct partner and client contact.
We understand that work life balance is important and we actively encourage that balance.
Graduates also undertake practical legal training accredited by the College of Law to satisfy the admission requirements.
